LIVESTRONG Headquarters featured in Architectural Digest

Four is apparently a lucky number for the LIVESTRONG staff and their new headquarters on Austin’s east side. For the team, the building is their fourth home since the foundation’s inception in 1997, but the first one that they’ve owned. The facility, now in its fourth generation of use since it was originally built in 1952 to store paper products, owes its renewed lease on life to LIVESTRONG founder and chairman, Lance Armstrong, who discovered it on a bike ride. At 58 years young, the building is in its most meaningful and creative application. Since completing the renovation in February 2009, the facility has already garnered eight awards for its environmental design and makes its Architectural Digest premiere in the May 2010 issue, currently on newsstands.
