What I'm doing for the 12 million survivors

There are roughly 12 million cancer survivors living in the United States today. My personal goal to raise $12 million for the Lance Armstrong Foundation means $1 for every cancer survivor. It seems like a tall order from where I sit but I believe in my heart that I can do this with your help. What a significant contribution it would make towards finding a cure. Even though I may not achieve this goal in my lifetime, what a lasting legacy it would be if I can pass the torch on to my 12-year old son for him to continue the work that was started today. http://www.firstgiving.com/cecilledesma
